REMEMBRANCE DAY

Every 11th of November  some countries (Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom) celebrate Remembrance Day. Remembrance Day or Poppy Day, is a day to remember people who fought and died in world wars.  People wear a paper poppy and at 11 o'clock on the 11th November, people are silent for two minutes. The first one is dedicated to soldiers that died and the second one is dedicated to their families. Do you remembar the history about this memorial? If you want, you can review the history here.

There is a very beautiful poem written by a First World War soldier which is known as Flanders Fields. You can listen to a part of this poem in the next video of Charlie Brown.

We wanted to make a memorial as well. Some classes made poppy wreaths and others made poppies to put on our landscape. Do you like the result?

We made a great effort. Look at the pictures, we worked a lot!

WE ALL LOVE TONGUE-TWISTERS

Hello my dear students! How's everybody? Today I have a hilarious proposal for you. I'm sure everybody knows tongue-twisters, these complicated, short sentences that make your tongue go wrong because of the similar sounds they have. Have a look at this video and see how complicated and FUN they are. Now, I dare you to do the same with some more simple ones:   - Red lorry, yellow lorry.   - I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice-cream.  Dont't worry if you are not able to do it, it takes lot of practice!!  Finally, I give you the solutions to the animal word search I posted yesterday.

Welcome!
